The best way to make money out of your investments in ICT is to keep your equipment in optimal state, ready to support your business. This is not an easy task; who does not know the troubles of an infection with a nasty virus. Running out of ink just when you need that important report. Of losing months of work due to a defective hard-disk or memory stick.

Mica Computer Services has put together a package of services which we call ‘Mica Full-Service’, aimed at one thing only, keeping your computer equipment running optimally. How do we do this? By creating an inventory of all your equipment, by tuning this equipment for optimum performance and then by keeping it run optimally through scheduled visits to your office.

So what makes up such a ‘full service’ visit?

  1. Physical Inspection
    We check your all your equipment inside and out; fix loose connections, blow out the dust that has been collecting inside and signal potential future problems. We’ll check the batteries of your inverter, the temperature in your server room, etcetera.
  2. Functional Inspection
    We check how the equipment works. For computers, we check for possible error messages, if the automatic backup is running and if all applications still run. For printers, networking equipment, power conditioning equipment, scanners and other accessories, we check if they operate optimally.
  3. Tune-up
    We check and update the virus protection of your workstations and servers, optimize the hard-disks and install all the latest security and bug-fixes for the operating system. We check and optimize the performance of your network and fix small problems your employees might have with their applications. If new licenses are needed, or existing ones need extending, we’ll take care of that for you.
  4. Reporting
    We’ll make an inventory of the availability of consumables such as ink- and toner-cartridges for your printers, the space left on the disks of your workstations and the expiration date of licences for things like your virus-scanners. We look at the age of your inverter batteries and the projected growth of your organisation and with all this information, prepare a ‘full-service report‘ with an overview of the actions taken and our recommendations for the future.

We’ll visit your offices once every 3 months, 4 times per year. We’ll bring all you need for the upcoming period and like a family doctor, check up, diagnose, fix and prevent. Allow us to take care of your ICT so you can focus on your core business!

  • Mica Consumables
    When  we visit your premises for our quarterly check-up, we’ll come with all the consumables (such as ink- and toner- cartridges) you might need. this way, we’ll ensure you will always have enough spares to ensure continued operations during the upcoming three months. You never have to worry about running out of ink, or empty CD-R’s for instance, and better yet, will get an extra 5% discount on all consumables purchased using this service!
  • Mica Emergency
    No matter how well you prepare, computer equipment will at some point fail, often when it is least convenient. Mica Emergency gives you the certainty of an on-call specialist, visiting your office when you need it most, to take care of these issues. Mica Emergency is available with a 2, 4 or 8 (office) hour response time, both for office hours and even 24 x 7!
